Former Indiana Hoosiers Men’s Basketball coach Bobby Knight introduces Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump at an Indianapolis rally.

It was announced on Monday that former Indiana Hoosiers legendary men’s basketball coach and Basketball Hall of Famer Bobby Knight would introduce Donald Trump at an Indianapolis rally at Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday.

Knight thanked the thousands of Hoosiers in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday for letting him coach their beloved college hoops team for all those years.

He then went on to say that Trump “is the most prepared man in history to step in as President of the United States.”

Bobby Knight describes Donald Trump as “the most prepared man in history to step in as president of the United States.”

Trump would take the podium after Knight introduced him, calling him “a winner” and continued by saying, “You know our country doesn’t win anymore, that’s what we need right there” pointing obviously at Knight walking off the stage.

Knight’s introduction of Trump was centered around how much he adored the Republican Party’s leading presidential candidate. He would say, “Now I want to give you the very best choice that’s ever been made on…the man taking over at his first job as a president and I give you Donald Trump”

Having Knight introduce Trump only adds to the unorthodox rise of his candidacy as the Republican Party’s best shot at winning the 2016 President Race. People in attendance at the rally in Indianapolis seemed to be in good spirits, as no chairs have been thrown by either Knight or Trump. Who will introduce Trump in the coming months? It’s hard for him to top Knight.
