Tonight’s three-game NBA slate will be a little lighter on star power than expected, but there is still plenty of intrigue as the Clippers try to move on without Chris Paul and Blake Griffin and the Warriors try to overcome the loss of Steph Curry (pictured above) as they try to eliminate the Rockets.  There’s also a key Game 5 in the Eastern Conference down in Miami, so get ready for a fun night of hoops by building your DFS fantasy basketball team with the help of my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from DraftKings

Tonight’s action gets a little later start then has been typical for the NBA Playoffs lately since two of the games are on the West Coast.  We start in South Beach at 8:00 PM ET with game 5 between the Heat and Hornets who have each won a pair of games at home. At 10:00, we get another pivotal game 5 as the Blazers head to LA and take on the Clippers who won’t have Chris Paul or Blake Griffin.  The Warriors can finish off the Rockets in the last game of the night as they host Houston in Game 5 of their First Round series.

With those three of games giving us a solid list of DFS fantasy basketball options, we should be able to put together a solid team.  Check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides to see the players I think you should take a look as you build your lineup tonight. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in today’s game.

I rank my picks every morning using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub.
