Chicago White Sox– Avasail Garcia, Tyler Danish and Leury Garcia to the Rockies for Carlos Gonzalez

The White Sox lineup is too right-handed in the middle. Their 3-4-5-6 in the lineup is all righty except for Melky Cabrera who is a switch hitter. Enter Cargo.

Putting Carlos Gonzalez between Jose Abreu and Todd Frazier would be a lethal middle of the order combination, especially in a good hitting part at US Cellular Field. They can then find another bat down the stretch to use at DH if they want to make Austin Jackson more of a bench player or rotate their outfielders in the DH spot. It may also keep Gonazlez healthier. With the White Sox lineup and the pitching they have, there could be potentially two playoff teams in Chi-Town.

For the Rockies, they can officially close the book on the Tulo and Cargo era. Avasail can step right in and play right field for the Rockies to give them another piece to the future. Leury can give them a utility option with some speed. In Danish, the Rockies get another young arm for their farm system to go along with their recent draft picks and trades they have made as this regime tries to crack the code on building a winner in thin air.
