NHL Playoffs: What channel is Ducks vs. Predators game 7 on?
Here is where you can watch Game 7 of the NHL playoffs first-round series between the Anaheim Ducks and Nashville Predators.
Tonight, Wednesday, April 27, at 10:00 p.m. EST the Anaheim Ducks and Nashville Predators will meet in Game 7 of their opening-round NHL playoffs series.
The tale of two different scenarios is what we have tonight in the Ducks-Predators game seven matchup. The Predators play their first game seven in franchise history while the Ducks play a game seven on home ice for the fourth year in a row.
Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau has a ton of game seven experience, but unsuccessful experience at that. Boudreau’s all-time game seven postseason record is 1-6, not a promising sign. However, the Ducks super stars, Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry haven’t offered much game seven support in previous years.
Getzlaf and Perry have combined for just two goals and three assists in the three previous game sevens. These two will need to dominate tonight as they were virtually nonexistent in game six.
For the Predators, they must get an early jump on the Ducks as Anaheim has given up a very early goal in each of their last three game sevens which allowed the opponent to gain momentum early and get the win.
Pekka Rinne will need to be sharp just as he was in game six and the Predators defense will need to be dominant at both ends of the ice just as they were in game six.
The Ducks efforts to end their game seven woes and the Predators efforts to give Anaheim nightmares, begins at 10:00 p.m. ET tonight at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The game will be aired on NBC Sports Network.
