Sacramento Kings fans line up for tattoo of new logo (photo)

Hundreds of Sacramento Kings fans took the team up on their offer to get a free tattoo of the new logo for the franchise.
In an attempt to renew their image after 10 straight losing seasons, the Sacramento Kings are doing something bold that will surely change what takes place on the court: that’s right, it’s time for a new logo!
The Kings announced they would be modifying their look for the 2016-17 season, eliminating the color black from their logo and uniforms and going with a look that is slightly similar to their old school look that has been relegated to throwback games:
While the Kings were out in the city giving out their new gear (which, so far, seems to be very popular among their fans and those across the league), they were also trying to get fans to make sure the new logo would be permanently on their bodies.
The team announced it would pay for fans to get tattoos of the new logo on their body. As you would expect, fans heard the word free and lined up outside a local tattoo parlor to get the fresh ink on their bodies:
It has been 20 years since the Kings had changed their logo, so these fans will have plenty of time to enjoy their free tats before they look stupid for doing it when the team switches to a different look or color scheme. After all, sometimes things that are free still cost too much in the long run.
