Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

This is a dream scenario for the San Diego Chargers, who have needs all over the field after going 4-12 in 2015. San Diego never had any designs on taking a quarterback with Philip Rivers still playing great, but he needs some help up front. The Chargers have tried to invest in the offensive line recently, but King Dunlap is a marginal left tackle who really belongs on the right side. General manager Tom Telesco would be wise to snatch up Laremy Tunsil here, arguably the best player in the draft.

While Dunlap has two years left on his contract after this season, he could certainly be released should the Chargers want to save cap space and perhaps get a younger right tackle. Joe Barksdale was re-signed this offseason, but he’s only locked down legitimately through next season as well. In the interim, he provides competition and a swing tackle on a team flush with cap space.

The Chargers could also go with Jalen Ramsey in this spot, but the corners are solid with Brandon Flowers, Jason Verrett and Casey Heyward. The only sensible move with Ramsey would be making him a safety, but this is too high a spot for that position to come off the board.
