The Buffalo Bills will be on the clock come Thursday night, looking for their next great star.

It has been a long time since the Buffalo Bills have made the playoffs. In fact, they have the longest current drought in the National Football League, not having played a 17th game since the 1999-2000 season, which ended with the Music City Miracle.

Buffalo went 8-8 last season under first-year head coach Rex Ryan, and is hoping that another draft class will get it over the proverbial hump. The Bills have picks in every round but the seventh, including a pair of compensatory selections. Here is how it all breaks down:

Draft Picks

  • 1st Round, 19th overall
  • 2nd Round, 49th overall
  • 3rd Round, 80th overall
  • 4th Round, 117th overall
  • 4th Round, 139th overall (compensatory)
  • 5th Round, 156th overall
  • 6th Round, 192nd overall
  • 6th Round, 218th overall (compensatory)

With eight selections, Buffalo is primed to make some noise. The Bills might be able to move into the first few rounds again should they package a couple of lower picks in hopes of landing another marquee player. Buffalo needs to find another playmaker on offense and perhaps a tight end in the middle rounds to pair with Charles Clay.
