Under head coach Gus Bradley, the Jacksonville Jaguars have gone through a true rebuild and have patient with the building process. Over the last few years, the Jaguars have done a good job of assembling talent on the roster and the team really began to see some growth with young quarterback Blake Bortles in 2015.
Now that the Jaguars are starting to reap the rewards of their patience, it’s time for them to take that next step and become a borderline playoff contender. In the AFC South, that is certainly possible considering it’s one of the more winnable divisions in football.
The good news is that the Jaguars hold the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and they will get yet another chance to add another possible franchise-changing talent to their roster this year. They should look to go best player available and strike while the iron is hot. This could be the draft that really caps off what the team has been working on and sets them up for the next decade.
