NBA Playoffs: Who will Warriors play in Round 2?

Who will the Golden State Warriors play in the second round of the NBA Playoffs?

Despite losing their MVP Stephen Curry to an ankle injury and eventually a knee injury, the Golden State Warriors dispatched of the Houston Rockets with relative ease in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. Just like the regular season, the Rockets looked disinterested in playing basketball and James Harden had plenty of games with empty stats.

As for the Warriors, their team showed championship resolve with Curry on the shelf and they also put on display the tremendous depth of their roster. Shaun Livingston filled in admirably at the point guard spot, while Klay Thompson unloaded from deep and showed why he is one of the best players in the league.

Draymond Green showed tremendous maturity as a leader of a team and he really energized the rest of his team with his play. Now, the Warriors will move onto the Western Conference Semifinals, where they will play the winner of the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers. The Trail Blazers lead that series 3-2 and will look to close out the Clippers in Game 6 in Portland on Friday night.
