NHL Playoffs: Dallas Stars vs St. Louis Blues complete TV schedule
The Dallas Stars and the St. Louis Blues will go head-to-head in round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs, beginning Friday, April 29 at 8:00 PM ET.
With all former champions out of the Western Conference, the Stars and the Blues look to take hold of the West starting in the second round of the NHL playoffs. These teams last played in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2001, when the Blues quickly defeated the Stars in a four-game sweep in the second round.
Dallas and St. Louis face one another five times in the 2015-16 regular season and were neck-and-neck throughout. St. Louis ultimately won four of the games, but those victories required overtime twice and and a shootout in another. However each team won a game 3-0.
Stars captain Jamie Benn and defenseman Alex Goligoski currently lead their team with five points each. In their six-game series against the Minnesota Wild, Benn had four goals and 10 points. The team is also supported by experienced playoff players Patrick Eaves (five points) and Patrick Sharp (four points). Cody Eakin, who has taken over for Tyler Seguin during his recovery from an Achilles tendon injury, had four points. On the Blues, Vladimor Tarasenko led the way against the Blackhawks with four goals and two assists, while defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk and forward Paul Stastny had five and four points, respectively.
