Tennessee Titans select Jack Conklin: Twitter reacts
Twitter reacted strongly to the Tennessee Titans trading up for offensive tackle Jack Conklin on Thursday night.
With the slide of Laremy Tunsil in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans decided to trade up in the 2016 NFL Draft on Thursday night. With the Browns moving back, the Titans decided to pass on Tunsil and instead, they selected offensive tackle Jack Conklin.
Conklin was the second offensive tackle off the board and it’s clear that head coach Mike Mularkey is serious about building a foundation around quarterback Marcus Mariota. With the massive amount of picks that the Titans had stockpiled over recent weeks, they had more then enough picks to jump up and get the tackle that they coveted.
General manager Jon Robinson had been saying that he was willing to make more deals and they really struck while the iron was hot. After the Titans took Conklin, Twitter had some things to say about Marcus Mariota’s new protector.

Titans trade the Browns their #15 pick, a 3rd round pick, and a #2 in 2017 for the #8 to get their OT, Jack Conklin.

With the Titans now adding Conklin and already having Taylor Lewan, they have a couple of young offensive lineman that they can build around.
The core is being put in place for the Titans and they are cultivating some serious talent.
