Who drafted Laremy Tunsil?

A look at which team selected Laremy Tunsil in the 2016 NFL Draft

By most projections, former Ole Miss Rebels offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil was going to be selected in the top-10 in the 2016 NFL Draft. Moreover, most people would’ve agreed that the talented big man would wind up going in the top-5 once the draft got underway with his talent and potential to be one of the best linemen in the entire NFL.

That all changed with one video posted to Twitter just minutes before the start of the 2016 NFL Draft.

A video that showed Laremy Tunsil smoking marijuana from a gas mask bong was posted onto the lineman’s official Twitter account about 10 minutes before the Los Angeles Rams were put on the clock at No. 1. Everything seemed to be pretty mum about the Ole Miss big man for a bit after since everyone knew that Jared Goff and Carson Wentz were going with the first two selections.

However, it wasn’t until the first five picks had passed and until the Baltimore Ravens took another tackle in Ronnie Stanley at No. 6 that it became clear what was happening: Laremy Tunsil was falling in the 2016 NFL Draft and falling fast.

Reports about NFL teams taking him completely off of draft boards and other things began to happen as Tunsil’s manager released a statement saying that his Twitter was hacked and that the video was quite old. However, the offensive tackle kept slipping.

As of pick No. 12 and the New Orleans Saints, no team had yet selected Laremy Tunsil, one of the most talented players in the draft due to his controversy. We’ll update you when a team does finally select him.

Update: 9:44 p.m. ET

The nightmare finally ended for Tunsil with the next pick at No. 13 as the Miami Dolphins selected the lineman from Ole Miss.
