Ed Werder calls Myles Jack, ‘Myles Jackass’ (Video)

ESPN’s Ed Werder referred to linebacker Myles Jack as ‘Myles Jackass’ during the draft.

Sometimes, a reporter will have a slip of the tongue while on the air. Occasionally, they might just be mad and say whatever is on their mind. During the second night of coverage of the 2016 NFL Draft on ESPN, Ed Werder had himself an interesting moment on the air.

After the Dallas Cowboys selected linebacker Jaylon Smith, Ed Werder was brought on the air to discuss why they took him over someone like Myles Jack, who also has knee issues.

While Werder was discussing why, he referred to Jack as “Myles Jackass” and it wasn’t quite clear if it was a slip or if he knew exactly what he just said.

Either way, Werder had an extremely annoyed look on his face when talking about Jack, so maybe it’s possible that something went wrong somewhere. Otherwise, it’s a slip-up that Werder probably regrets making.

It’s kind of hard to make that big of a mistake when saying Jack, but Werder might have the tongue working quicker than the brain.

Let’s just hope it was an innocent mistake.
