4. Robert Nkemdiche

If drafts were purely about talent and nothing else, Robert Nkemdiche would have been a top pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. However, with some weird off-the-field issues, teams were hesitant to take the Ole Miss defensive lineman and he slid in the draft as a result.

That’s when he fell right into the laps of the Arizona Cardinals, an organization that had spent more time with Nkemdiche than any other prospect that they looked at. The Cardinals believe that they have the culture to keep Nkemdiche in line and they have proven success with Tyrann Mathieu, who has gone on to become an All-Pro defensive back in the NFL.

If Nkemdiche can stay focused and give it his all, there is a chance that the Cardinals may have landed a huge coup that could help propel them toward their goal of making the Super Bowl in 2016. The Cardinals struggled to rush the passer last year, despite an impressive showing from rookie Markus Golden.

To get better at getting after the quarterback, the Cardinals acquired Chandler Jones from the Patriots and now have drafted Nkemdiche. Head coach Bruce Arians compared Nkemdiche to former Cardinals great Darnell Dockett, who could also rush the passer and get after the run.

Nkemdiche has all the moves and talent in the world. If he can put it together and find himself in his new environment, he could be a great player for a long time.
