A look at the selections that the New York Jets have on Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft

Even the biggest proponents of chaos theory couldn’t have predicted the madness that ensued on Day 1 of the 2016 NFL Draft. With Laremy Tunsil falling due to his social media accounts being hacked, Myles Jack falling out of the first round, and several curious picks being made, it was one hell of a day. However, it was just another day at the office for the New York Jets under Todd Bowles as they took a fantastic defensive prospect in Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee with the No. 20 overall pick. Now the Jets and their fans are looking ahead to Friday and Day 2 of the NFL Draft

While Thursday at the NFL Draft only features the first round, Day 2 holds Rounds 2 and 3. Given the craziness that’s already gone down in this draft, you have to wonder what having two rounds worth of pick will mean in terms of the drama and semi-anarchy. The question on the minds of fans in New York, though, is whether the Jets will remain steady if that does indeed happen.

The Jets will pick twice on Friday at Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft with a pick in each of the two rounds that will play out. They’ll again have the No. 20 pick in Round 2 (No. 51 overall) and then the No. 20 pick in Round 3 (No. 83 overall). Given the way highly talented players have been falling and with some of the players still left on the board at Round 1, the Jets could wind up with some crazy talent with one of these two picks on Day 2.
