The Dallas Cowboys considered moving up two spots to No. 32 from No. 34 in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, but for now Dallas will reportedly stand pat.
While the Dallas Cowboys had put out some feelers earlier about moving up to the top of the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by making a trade with the Cleveland Browns for No. 32, it seems that Dallas is fine with staying at No. 34, this according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.
I'm told #Cowboys unlikely to move up from pick 34 in second round. Jerry Jones says players with first-round grades on board, maybe DEs

Dallas is largely expected to go with a pass rusher with their high second round pick on Friday evening, as the Cowboys chose to address their need for a star running back in the first round at No. 4 by drafting Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliott with that pick Thursday night.
While the Browns have been totally fine with moving back in the 2016 NFL Draft to acquire much-needed picks to rebuild their awful football team, their obvious trade partner for the No. 32 overall selection in Dallas feels like they can get a suitable pass rusher at No. 34.
Two players that Dallas will likely target at No. 34 are Oklahoma State Cowboys’ Emmanuel Ogbah or UCLA Bruins’ Myles Jack. Ogbah was one of the premier pass rushers in the Big 12 in 2015. Jack has top five talent out of the Pac-12, but a degenerative knee condition kept him out of the first round, as his NFL career could come to a close in a matter of seasons.
If owner/general manager Jerry Jones feels that the Cowboys can get the type of pass rusher he wants at No. 34, then there really isn’t a great reason to give the Browns and extra pick to move up only two spots. Whomever Dallas ends up selecting at No. 34 on Friday, do expect it to be a premier pass rushing prospect.
