A look at what time Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft will start
Day 1 of the 2016 NFL Draft is now in the books and what a day it was. While there was plenty of excitement leading up to Thursday and Round 1 with all of the trades happening in the pre-draft process, all of that was just a prelude to the immense amount of chaos that was set to ensue on Thursday night during the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
The obvious storyline from Day 1 was Laremy Tunsil falling and falling in the draft despite being widely regarded as arguably the best overall player in the entire 2016 NFL Draft class. Of course, his tumbling down the board was spawned from the fact that his social media accounts were hacked to where an old video of him hitting a bong and text message conversations with his college coach at Ole Miss, Hugh Freeze, that admitted NCAA violations were posted.
Outside of the Tunsil drama, though, there were plenty of other crazy things to happen on Day 1 of the draft. Perhaps the other major storyline to follow was the fact that Myles Jack out of UCLA, beloved by many scouts for his talent, fell out of the first round. As such, you have to wonder who will be taking him in in Round 2. As such, you may also be wondering when you can tune into Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft.
While the first day got going at 8 p.m. ET, the fact that there’s two rounds on Friday night pushes the start time earlier as Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft will start at 7 p.m. ET.
