Looking at the Cincinnati Bengals Day 3 selections in the 2016 NFL Draft
If nothing else, the 2016 NFL Draft was interesting for the Cincinnati Bengals through the first two days. In Round 1, the Bengals took cornerback William Jackson III out of Houston even though that wasn’t a real position of need. However, they may have just taken the best player available or have tried to block the Steelers from getting him.
On Day 2, though, the Bengals used their two pick to address glaring needs on the roster as they took receiver Tyler Boyd in Round 2 and inside linebacker Nick Vigil in Round 3.
Moving ahead now to Day 3 on Saturday, the Bengals are going to want to finish out strong and, especially in comparison to the selection list of many other teams around the league, will be doing so in a normal fashion. Cincinnati has one pick in each of the remaining four rounds, all their own picks and with none coming in.
The Bengals will have the No. 24 pick of each of the remaining four rounds, which translates to the No. 122 (Round 4), No. 161 (Round 5), No. 199 (Round 6), and No. 245 (Round 7) overall picks in the final day of the NFL Draft.
