The NFL Draft is one of the most exciting sporting events of the entire year, but all good things must come to an end. On Saturday, that will indeed be the case for the 2016 NFL Draft. One of the teams that will be making their final selections is none other than the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas has been one of the teams making some noise in this draft. In the first round on Thursday with the No. 4 overall pick they went right ahead and took Ezekiel Elliott from Ohio State to have as their new running back. Then, with their first pick of the second round, they were the team that took a chance on linebacker Jaylon Smith out of Notre Dame — stunning everyone in the process.
Yes, the Cowboys came into this draft to make some noise and they’ll be looking to finish strong on Saturday as the 2016 NFL Draft will be coming to a close.
