NFL Draft 2016: Detroit Lions Day 3 selections
These are the draft picks the Detroit Lions will have on day three of the 2016 NFL Draft.
General manager Bob Quinn has been all about building in the trenches in his first draft as the general manager of the Detroit Lions. In the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Lions selected offensive tackle Taylor Decker out of Ohio State.
In the second round of the draft, the Lions added one of the better defensive tackles in the draft, when they selected Alabama defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson, who is expected to come in and stop the run on a consistent basis for the Lions.
The Lions didn’t stop there when it came to adding to the trenches either. in the third round of the draft, the Lions stayed close to home, when they drafted Michigan center Graham Glasgow. With the Lions investing their first three picks across both lines, it’s clear they’re serious about getting physical at the point of attack.
On day three of the draft, the Lions will have plenty of more time to add more young talent to the roster. They have seven picks on the day. These are the draft picks the Lions will own on day three.
