How to watch New York Islanders vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Game 2 online. 

The New York Islanders will try to return home with a commanding series lead with a win in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Amalie Arena.

New York stunned Tampa Bay early on in Game 1 with three goals in the first period against Vezina Trophy contender Ben Bishop. John Tavares continued his playoff scoring binge with a goal in the second period and an assist on Travis Hamonic’s goal five minutes in. Goaltender Thomas Greiss has been one of the surprises of the playoffs, and helped hold off a late Lightning rally.

While the Lightning are accustomed to better performances from Bishop, who was excellent in the first round series win over the Detroit Red Wings, Tampa Bay’s defense didn’t exactly play well in front of him. Ondrej Palat opened the scoring in the first period with his second goal of the playoffs, but miscues piled up after that, with Shane Prince scoring twice in the first for New York.
