High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,300): While the SG spot has no players with a salary over 5K, the SF spot is absolutely stacked with three superstar options headlining the list as LeBron, Durant, and Kawhi lead their teams into big games tonight. LeBron and the Cavs should be well rested after a full week off after beating the Pistons.  In each of those four games, LeBron had at least 43 fantasy points  including his 55 fantasy points in Game 1 which was his highest of the postseason so far.  James had a double-double in three of those games and scored at least 20 points in at least 40 minutes in each contest.  Tonight, he’ll take on the Hawks who he averaged 27.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks against in three meetings this season.  He should continue to be a bit of a mismatch for Atlanta tonight which should lead to a big fantasy night for “The King.”

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (9,500): Durant didn’t shoot as badly as some of his teammates in the Thunder’s Game 1 loss, but he still only totaled 34.5 fantasy points on 16 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Durant will be in a tough matchup this series against Kawhi Leonard’s excellent defense, so proceed with caution if you roll with KD in any game this series.  He obviously has the talent to light it up any night, but it isn’t the best matchup for him after he cruised past Dallas in Round 1.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (9,000): Leonard not only shut down Kevin Durant for the most part in Game 1, but he also chipped in 25 points of his own in just 22 minutes while also adding five rebounds and five assists. He had a quick 38.78 fantasy points while getting plenty of rest to be fresh for tonight’s game.  Leonard has at least 35 fantasy points in four of his five games this postseason and can crank it up when necessary to a whole different gear as he demonstrated with 64.75 fantasy points against the Grizzlies in Game 3 of Round 1.  With the Thunder hopefully keeping this game closer, I think Kawhi will play more minutes and be more productive making him my favorite points-per-dollar play of the there megastars at this spot.∗∗
