NFL Mock Draft 2017: Another QB on top?

10. <p>We are only two years removed from Da’Shawn Hand being arguably the top prospect in the 2014 high school class. Now, the path is paved for Hand to display that upside in a more full-time role at Alabama in 2016.</p> <p>Nick Saban has put together a comically deep and talented defensive front in the recent past, and that is evidenced by players like Jarran Reed and A’Shawn Robinson landing with NFL teams in the first half of the 2016 draft. In addition, Jonathan Allen came back to school for the 2016 season, and he was prominently featured earlier in this mock.</p> <p>Still, Da’Shawn Hand has the most talent of any player we’ve discussed, and he flashed that skill in limited action last season. Hand picked up 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks as part of Alabama’s rotation, but with him on one side and Allen on the other, look out.</p> <p>It is fair to say that Hand hasn’t “proven” anything yet, and he must come on in a big way in order to earn this draft slot.
