player. 48.
Jabrill Peppers is an absolute freak, to the point where even Jim Harbaugh cannot contain his excitement for his prized defensive standout. Peppers was a five-star recruit as a cornerback, but after sitting out much of his freshman season with injury issues, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound athlete served as a standout player at strong safety in Harbaugh’s first campaign in Ann Arbor.

Now, Peppers is set to transition to linebacker in his redshirt sophomore campaign, and he has also been featured as a kick returner, punt returner, wide receiver and even running back at Michigan. Is there any question about his versatility?

At the NFL level, Jabrill Peppers is probably best suited to play safety at this stage, but if an NFL team falls in love with his talents at cornerback, that is in play as well. Regardless, everyone is on the same page with Peppers’ athletic ability and overall football acumen, making him a prime suspect to fall within the top ten picks of the 2017 NFL Draft.

This is yet another example of an underclassman that does not have to declare, but with where Peppers will undoubtedly be “mocked” after the 2016 college football season, you could argue he would be crazy to stay in school for another year.
. DB/LB. Michigan. Jabrill Peppers. 5
