Rotoworld NFL Draft writer Josh Norris stood true to his word after the Patriots didn’t draft Keenan Reynolds.
When it comes to the NFL Draft, every draft writer has that one player that they think will fall to a certain team. It’s hard not to project players to certain teams based on the skill set of a certain player and the scheme that a team runs.
Rotoworld NFL Draft writer Josh Norris was convinced that the New England Patriots would draft Keenan Reynolds, especially considering the abundance of late-round picks that they had and the fact that some scouts saw him as a direct comparison to Julian Edelman. He was so convinced of the fact that the Patriots would draft Reynolds, that he would eat his piece of paper if they didn’t.
The Baltimore Ravens were the team that decided to draft the Navy standout, which meant it was time for Norris to chow down on that premium 8×10 copy sheet. Those things aren’t cheap at your local supply store.
Instead of backing out of his commitment, Norris ate his sheet of paper on the air.
He like many draft experts were wrong about certain picks, but the draft is one of the hardest things in the world to project. The fact that he stuck to his word shows the type of man that he is.
