Chris Bosh is making it clear that he wants to return to the court for the Heat.

For a second straight season, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh has been sidelined with blood clots. The issue was thought to have been resolved at the end of the 2015 season, but it returned earlier this year.

Bosh is seemingly antsy to play as the Heat continue to advance through the NBA Playoffs. He’s apparently getting desperate enough to the point where he’s petitioning the NBPA to get him back on the court, according to Dan LeBatard (transcribed by the Palm Beach Post). The former Toronto Raptor is also pressuring the Heat, who still say there’s no timetable for his return.

Bosh wanting to get back on the court is great. He has passion for the game and wants to be out there with his teammates. Health comes first, though, and until Bosh is cleared to play after dealing with the blood clots, he should be sitting down. It’s a life-threatening issue that and if he comes back before getting proper clearance from doctors, there’s risk for further damage. No one would want to see that happen.

It would be surprising to see this get Chris Bosh anywhere. He’ll likely remain on the bench for the rest of the playoffs unless the Heat claim he’s good to go for an on-court return. For now, Miami will have to battle
