When Charles Barkley’s acting in the original Space James movie was shown during Monday’s “Inside the NBA”, co-worker Shaquille O’Neal went all in.

Monday night, as his Cleveland Cavaliers were busy winning game one of their second round Eastern Conference playoff series with the Atlanta Hawks, news came out that LeBron James will more than likely play the lead role in the sequel to the widely popular 1996 film, Space Jams.

For those who need a refresher on the classic movie from two decades ago (which will make some people feel really old), basketball legend Michael Jordan must play a game with the “Toon Squad”, led by Bugs Bunny, against a group of Monstars who have stolen the basketball talents from some of the top NBA stars of the mid-1990’s.

One of those stars featured in the original was Charles Barkley, who is still entertaining fans today as a member of the award winning “Inside the NBA” crew on TNT. Monday, news of the sequel was the topic of the show’s finale, where footage of Barkley’s “acting” was on display…and his co-anaylst, Shaquille O’Neal, dropped the mic with his reaction to Barkley’s work:

"In wake of Space Jam 2, we take a look back at Chuck in Space Jam in this edition in EJ’s Neat-O Stat of the Night. https://t.co/nrwTgJsqoB— NBA on TNT (@NBAonTNT) May 3, 2016"

Shaq continued to make fun of Charles Barkley’s skills as the show came to a close:

There is no word on when the Space Jams sequel will hit theaters, but news did come out that acclaimed director Jeremy Lin (Fast and the Furious franchise, as well as the hit TV series Community) has signed on to direct the much anticipated film.
