Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic got elbowed in the face by Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan and had to leave the game.

More often than not, if a player is driving the lane in the NBA, then another player is going to try and take a charge. Sometimes it works and sometimes it leaves you with a tooth in your lip and blood spewing about in such a vicious manner, that children have their eyes shielded from the television.

In Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night, Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic decided to try and take a charge from DeMar DeRozan, but ended up on the wrong side of things again, when he took an elbow right to the chin and appeared to have had a tooth lodged into his lip.

Dragic would have to leave the game because of blood and to get himself checked out. It’s just a reminder of just how physical the NBA Playoffs can get. Earlier in the game, Heat guard Dwyane Wade had his ankle rolled up on by Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas.

At this point, they may as well be playing rugby on the court with the way everyone is going down.
