How you can watch the weigh-ins for the fight between Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan

It’s the first week of May, which means that it’s time for a marquee event in the sport of boxing. However, as opposed to previous years, it won’t be Floyd Mayweather taking to the ring. No, with Floyd retired, the Cinco de Mayo weekend spotlight now belongs to the pride of Mexico, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who will be taking on Amir Khan.

Canelo has indeed become the face of the sport of boxing, and he’ll look to further prove that on Saturday night by taking on the flashy Khan. Khan is jumping up two weight classes for this fight, so he’s at a disadvantage coming in right off the bat. But, we’ve seen major upsets in the sport of boxing before, so you never know what can happen.

Before we get to the actual fight on Saturday, though, we must have the weigh-ins to make sure that both fighters come in at or near the catchweight of 155 pounds. The weigh-ins begin at 5:30 p.m. ET and you can watch it below.

Of course, should Canelo come away with the win in this fight, then everyone will be wondering whether or not he will be facing GGG next, a question that will most certainly be asked afterwards if he is indeed victorious.
