In Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert threw down a monster dunk on Atlanta Hawks big man Mike Muscala. Of course, that dunk was overshadowed by the fact that the Cavs made just about every single three-pointer that they took that night on their way to setting an NBA playoff record for threes made in a game.
On Friday night the Cavs picked up right where they left off in regards to making three-pointers, as they knocked down eight threes in the first quarter. Also picking up right where they left off was Shumpert who took off for yet another monster dunk in the second quarter.

That is impressive even considering that the Hawks did not get a body on Shumpert. Flying in like that isn’t easy as the timing has to be perfect when not standing right under the rim but Shumpert got everything down perfect and was able to hammer the dunk down with some incredible power.
If Atlanta does want to pull off the upset they probably need to win Game 3 and doing things like not boxing out players on the other team doesn’t seem like the best way to go about that. On the other hand big dunks are fun so I’m all for the Hawks current strategy.
