Here’s the television schedule and the post times for the 2016 Kentucky Oaks race.
The Kentucky Oaks is often considered to be the unofficial start to the horse racing season. It’s not as prestigious as the Kentucky Derby, but like the Derby, the Oaks are held at the world famous Churchill Downs. The Oaks are for three year old thoroughbreds. There will be 13 races throughout the day. It’s a 1.125 mile race and there is $1 million of prize money involved.

The Oaks is the 11th race of the day, meaning that the post time for the Oaks is at 5:49 PM. Television coverage begins at noon ET on NBC Sports Network.
