Sprint Cup: Go Bowling 400 qualifying results

Here are the complete qualifying results for the 2016 Go Bowling 400 at Kansas Speedway on Saturday.

After one of the wildest races in history last week at Talladega, tensions are at a boiling point and the drivers of NASCAR are ready to move onto the next race at Kansas Speedway. It’s a night race this week, as the drivers of NASCAR will race for a win and potentially a spot in the Chase at the 2016 Go Bowling 400.

To get ready for all of Saturday night’s action, the drivers took part in qualifying on Friday evening and the track really began to pick up speed as qualifying wore on. In the first round of qualifying, it was Matt Kenseth who was the fastest, while Kevin Harvick was knocked out of the first round.

The second round was very much the same story as the first round of qualifying. Kenseth really faced no strong challengers and he cruised right into the final round of qualifying as the fastest on the track.

In the final round, Kenseth would only qualify second, as Martin Truex Jr. put together his best round of qualifying yet and won the pole. Here are the complete qualifying results for the 2016 Go Bowling 400.
