Johnny Manziel didn’t take his indictment on assault charges as a wake-up call as he continued with the same destructive behavior he’s been practicing for years.

If being indicted on misdemeanor assault charges after hitting your ex-girlfriend isn’t rock bottom, then I’m not sure what will be for Johnny Manziel.

The poster child for wasted talent and former Cleveland Browns quarterback continues to make one bad decision after another.

What did Manziel do after appearing in court?

He did what he always does and went clubbing in Hollywood, according to TMZ.

Manziel hit up Nice Guy, Hyde and Bootsy Bellows all within an hour according to the report from TMZ who also reports Manziel was “mum” but also mentioned the criminal case didn’t seem to have an effect on his normal behavior.

And that’s what’s just so sad about this.

Manziel has been acting like this since before he became a college football sensation at Texas A&M. Before his Heisman-winning season, Manziel was caught with a fake ID and fighting but his troubles were masked by his Johnny Football persona.

He was enabled at Texas A&M where he was a larger than life celebrity who loved all the attention and love he got from guys who wanted to be him and girls who wanted to be with him.

When he left Texas A&M and came to the NFL with the Browns, that same behavior followed him but he didn’t have the same personal success he had in college and it was no longer cool to be Johnny Football.

He spent time in rehab last year but that clearly did nothing to help him with his issues and the only thing that could save his football career and more importantly, his life, could be another extensive stint in rehab.
