Miami Heat forward Josh McRoberts hit Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas with a monster block in Game 3.

Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas has been going to work down low for the entirety of the NBA Playoffs. With Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside leaving Game 3 with a knee injury, it left a void down low that allowed Valanciunas to continue to feast inside.

However, Valanciunas got a little too full inside and had one dunk attempt swatted away in monster fashion from an unlikely source. As Valanciunas went to throw down the big slam for added emphasis, Heat forward Josh McRoberts went straight up and matched him with a monster block.

The block led to the Heat getting the ball in transition and going down and scoring the basketball. The whole crowd rose to their feet to get energized by McRoberts’ play, as he did his best to fill the void that Whiteside left on the court.

Unfortunately for the Heat, Valanciunas didn’t quit after that block and kept hammering away down low as the game went on. Still, it was one of the highlight plays of McRoberts’ career on Saturday.
