Los Angeles Angels set selfie stick world record

The Angels may have lost the game but they did set a selfie stick world record, so they got that goin’ for ’em.

It’s been a rough start to the season for the Los Angeles Angels who found out this week their ace Garrett Richards will be lost for the rest of the year because he needs Tommy John Surgery. And he wasn’t the only pitcher to get hurt as Andrew Heaney is is headed to the disabled list.

Then the internet was about to freak out with thoughts of Mike Trout being available in a trade for the team who has underachieved this year.

The thought of Trout being on the trade block is as outlandish as it sounds and the Angels put to bed any such nonsense the best player in the game could be playing in another uniform.

But despite the doom and gloom and the sky is falling feeling from Angels fans, they put their depression on hold to set a selfie stick world record because that’s the stuff that really matters in life.

Who would have thought the phrase”selfie stick world record” would ever be a thing?

Sure enough, that’s just the way things have gone for the Angels this year who haven’t had a whole lot to be excited about but off the field, their fans are making the most of the situation.

And after all, it’s a long season and it’s only the first week of May so there is plenty of time to get back to playing good baseball.
