Atlanta Hawks forward Kris Humphries made a monster two-handed block on Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love.
After falling behind three games to nothing in the second round of the NBA Playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Atlanta Hawks entered Game 4 with their backs against the wall and a chance to be swept for the third time by Cleveland.
Needing a much better performance against Cleveland than they have brought in any other game, the Hawks came out with a ton of energy and forward Kris Humphries helped provide a spark off the bench. Crashing the boards and playing defense, Humphries went up and made a huge play against Kevin Love.
As Love went to go up for a dunk, Humphries matched him at the hoop and made a huge two-handed swat right down on Love.
It’s one thing to make a big one-handed block, but to go up with two hands and knock Love back down is almost demoralizing. That’s exactly the type of play the Hawks needed from Humphries early to send a message that they won’t be going down without a fight.
As for Love, he might want to go up with two hands too next time.
