Kyrie Irving cuts through Hawks’ defense like butter (Video)

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving drove through the Atlanta Hawks‘ defense with the greatest of ease.

There aren’t many point guards in the world with smoother handles than Kyrie Irving. Every time Irving drives the ball, it’s like watching art. In Game 4 of the second round of the NBA Playoffs on Sunday, the Cleveland Cavaliers were looking to sweep the Atlanta Hawks and finish them off once and for all.

While the Hawks got out to an early double-digit lead on the Cavaliers, Irving was doing his part to get his team back in the game with his flawless drives to the hoop. On one play in particular, Irving cut through the Hawks’ defense like butter and scored with the greatest of ease.

Irving weaved his way through defenders and went up for one of the more beautiful layups you will see in the league.

When Irving is driving and on his game, the Cavaliers are just as good as anyone in the league. He has a special ability to get to the hoop and defenses have a hard enough time containing him.

That’s why the Hawks are on the verge of a sweep, because they can’t stop Irving or the barrage of threes the Cavaliers have unloaded on them.
