Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving didn’t stop pivoting and began glitching after the whistle.
Everyone that’s ever played NBA2K has had that player that glitches on their screen after a play. It’s frustrating and it shows that the game is not always working as it should. However, it’s rare when a player takes the form of a video game in real life.
Against the Atlanta Hawks in Game 4 of the second round of the NBA Playoffs on Sunday, Kyrie Irving began glitching on the court. After a whistle was called on the floor for a timeout by the Cavaliers, Irving kept pivoting and moving with the ball in his hands despite the fact the rest of his team was on the bench and drawing up a play for after the timeout.
Clearly Irving needs to reboot, because that is not the way he should be performing. In all seriousness, it was one of the more strange moments of these NBA Playoffs.
Then again, everyone needs a little extra time to work on their pivoting. Irving thought that best time would be when his team is drawing up their next play.
