Looking at when Spurs vs. Thunder Game 5 is going to be played in the 2016 NBA Playoffs
The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs started off their Western Conference semifinals in the 2016 NBA Playoffs series looking like things might be one-sided throughout the series. The Spurs trounced OKC in Game 1, but that was hardly indicative of what has happened in the three games since then. Now everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting for Game 5.
Everything any NBA or basketball fan could ever want in a postseason series or from an NBA game has been on display through the first four games. We’ve seen LaMarcus Aldridge dominate, team basketball be executed to perfection, and of course had Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant dominate at times either. In the end, the results have been fantastic.
Perhaps just as great to watch, though, has been how back-and-forth everything has been since Game 1. The Thunder responded on the road in San Antonio in Game 2 to win, but the Spurs came back in Game 3 to go back up in the series. OKC responded once again, though, with a Game 4 victory to even things up. What happen when the series now moves back to San Antonio for Game 5, though?
With that question looming, many people may be asking when Game 5 will be played. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long at all to catch the Game 5 action as the Thunder and Spurs will meet once again on Tuesday, May 10 at 8 p.m. ET in San Antonio with the broadcast being on TNT.
