Here’s what Twitter had to say about the Tampa Bay Lightning’s series-deciding victory over the New York Islanders on Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are on the doorstep of a second consecutive Stanley Cup Finals appearance following a five-game Second Round series victory over the New York Islanders.

Tampa Bay jumped  all over the Islanders early in Game 5 at Amalie Arena on Saturday before cruising to a 4-0 victory. Victor Hedman scored twice to up his series point total to eight, while Nikita Kucherov tallied his league-leading ninth goal of the postseason. Ben Bishop was also terrific, recording his fourth shutout in a series clincher of the past two seasons.

Now, the Lightning will await the winner of the series between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins. Either team is going to be a step up in competition, but for now Lightning fans are in celebration mode.

Here’s the best Twitter reactions from the Lightning’s five-game series victory over the Islanders:

The Lightning will get a few days to rest, which could make a huge difference. Steven Stamkos, Anton Stralman, and J.T. Brown could all return from injury by the start of the Conference Finals, which would add even more firepower to an already talented roster.
