There’s no question that Ring of Honor (ROH) puts on some of the best wrestling shows in the world. They have an unprecedented history outside of WWE of creating some of the biggest names and most talented wrestlers in the industry for over a decade. However, one of their biggest shows of every year happens on Sunday night in Chicago as ROH Global Wars 2016 takes place with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) sending some of its best talents to compete
With the cross-promotion work between ROH and NJPW, there are obviously some great matches that you wouldn’t normally see. Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin tagging against Kazuchika Okada and Moose is going to be amazing, as is Tetsuya Naito taking on Kyle O’Reilly.
Of course, the ROH World title match is at the top of the card for Global Wars 2016 as Colt Cabana has returned and set his sights on Jay Lethal and the biggest prize in the company. On Sunday night, we’ll see if even a legend like Colt Cabana can dethrone Jay Lethal and the House of Truth.
