Nobody wanted the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat to go into overtime. In fact, most of us were cheering against it for the sake of our sanity. The game has not been good, and the series has just been plain unwatchable. Then, the ball itself just quit on the game. Like a hero in the form of a spherical orange ball. The basketball said no.

What do we call this heroic attempt to end a horrible game that nobody else can put up with any longer? We looked towards our frenemies The Starters, and it was dubbed a ledgie.

Thank you basketball. Thank you The Starters. Thank you ledge. While the game was forced to continue your efforts to put us out of our misery did not go unnoticed.
