The Portland Trail Blazers proved in Game 3 of the second round of the NBA Playoffs, that they can shoot just as well as the Golden State Warriors. Behind a legendary performance from Damian Lillard, the Trail Blazers took Game 3 in a lopsided fashion on their home floor and showed that they are not going to go quietly into the night.
Despite the fact that the Warriors had huge nights from Draymond Green and Klay Thompson offensively, they did not bring the intensity on defense that they needed to win the game. If they’re going to put the Trail Blazers on the brink of elimination and win a game in one of the toughest arenas in the NBA in Game 4, they’re going to need a renewed focus on the defensive side of the ball.
