With a hot start, Chicago White Sox rumors are quickly heating up. Who will the team be targeting at the MLB trade deadline?

Trailing only their loaded counterparts on the North Side, the Chicago White Sox currently hold the second-best record in all of baseball. Sitting at 22-10 with a five game lead in the tough American League Central, the White Sox have been the biggest surprise through the early part of the 2016 MLB season.

Led by an impressive starting staff, timely hitting and a lights-out bullpen, the White Sox appear to be serious contenders in the American League this season. They are a talented team who hold a great mix of veteran leadership and young impact talent. While their hot start may be surprising, this team does not appear to be going away anytime soon.

That being said, there are some obvious flaws on their roster that need addressed. The White Sox entered the season as post season hopefuls, but their incomplete roster suggested that they were likely a year or two away from competing in the loaded AL Central.

This hot start puts them right on track to compete with the best, but the flaws on the roster are still there. While extremely talented at the top, the White Sox lack depth throughout the starting rotation. Also, they could certainly use another power bat to add to the mix in the middle of their lineup.

As long as they do not fade away, I expect the White Sox to be aggressive at the MLB trade deadline. They are a talented team, but need to fill the holes in their roster with capable MLB starters. The will to improve is there, but the White Sox are not exactly flush with talent throughout their minor league system. They may have to get creative in order to pull off significant additions to their roster.

A surprising contender with obvious needs, the White Sox are going to be aggressive at the trade deadline. Who are their top targets?
