Kawhi Leonard jukes Kevin Durant to ground, rips rebound from Serge Ibaka (Video)
Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard made Thunder forward Kevin Durant fall to the floor and out-muscled forward Serge Ibaka in one play.
Kawhi Leonard might not be human.
On Tuesday night, the San Antonio Spurs forward continued to show in Game 5, why he might be the most ridiculous athlete in the NBA today. One play in particular showed just how much effort Leonard gives each play.
As Leonard went to put up a shot over Durant, he juked and faked Durant so hard, that Durant went straight to the ground.
Leonard would miss the shot on the play and the ball would appear to be rebounded by Thunder forward Serge Ibaka. Leonard once again didn’t quit on the play and decided to go rip the ball away from Ibaka and put the ball back up for a score.
In one sequence of basketball, Leonard showed off both his offensive and defensive prowess. There aren’t too many players that can do that.
With the Thunder jumping out to an early lead in Game 5, Leonard got the Spurs back into the game by himself. He never gives up on the ball and his game has become absolutely ridiculous.
