NHL Playoffs: What channel is Capitals vs. Penguins Game 6 on?
What channel is Game 6 between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins on?
Game 6 between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins will be happening thanks to a 3-1 win by the Caps in Game 5 to fight off elimination. If the Caps want to win the series, they will have to fight off elimination again during Game 6 as they still trail the Penguins 3-2 in the series. Game 6 will be held at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Pens goaltender Matthew Murray has only lost once in his brief regular season career.
The Capitals will need their stars to be their stars tonight. Captain Alex Ovechkin has been dominant throughout the series. Expect him to continue to give the Penguins problems, especially on the power play. Caps goaltender Braden Holtby was huge in Game 5 and has been huge in the playoffs. The Penguins, led by captain Sidney Crosby, will have to find a way to get pucks past him and a Caps defense led by John Carlson.
Game 6 will be aired nationally on NBC Sports Network beginning at 8:00 PM EST. The game can also be viewed on your computer or your smartphone thanks to NBC Sports Live Extra. However, in order to view the whole game, you will have to have your cable username and password.
