Vince McMahon dropped a bit of a bombshell on Tuesday, noting that Seth Rollins will be coming back soon
Vince McMahon held a quarterly conference call on Tuesday, and while these tend to be a bit boring at times, he kind of let out a bit of a bombshell in regards to a superstar that will be making his return rather soon. During the talk, McMahon noted that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be making his return within the next 30 days.
Rollins has been out of action since suffering a gruesome knee injury back in November, an injury that forced him to vacate the title that he had held since WrestleMania 31. He was the top heel in the company and losing him was a crushing blow for the company and the fans as well. However, it looks as if he will be back on television sooner rather than later, so everyone can exhale.
His return might be a bit delayed, however, as he’s currently shooting the next WWE movie, Temple. But shooting on that production should be wrapping up soon, so he will be available to get back to what he’s best at — working in a professional wrestling ring.
There’s no doubt that while his heel character was getting a bit tiresome, he is sorely missed by all WWE fans. Back in December when he made a brief appearance to pick up his Slammy Award, he was greeted by loud cheers from the people in attendance and the internet lost its mind.
Soon, though, they’ll lose their mind again when he returns, presumably to chase down the title that he never really lost.
