Kyle Lowry hits long dagger three-pointer to seal the win
By Taylor Smith
Kyle Lowry enjoyed a career year this season for the No. 2 seed Toronto Raptors. The All-Star point guard averaged a career-high 21.2 points to go along with 6.4 assists and 4.7 boards per game. Once the playoffs rolled around, though, that came screeching to a halt. Lowry has been mired in an amazing offensive slump, shooting just 33% from the floor and a brutal 19.7% from long range.
Regardless, the Raptors were able to squeak by the Pacers in the first round and now, thanks in large part to Lowry, find themselves with a 3-2 advantage over the Miami Heat in round two.
Kyle struggled with his stroke throughout most of Game 5 (9-for-25 shooting), but did connect on four threes as Toronto downed Miami 99-91. His final triple was this ridiculous stepback gun from about 30 feet right over the outstretched arms of Josh Richardson that all but sealed the Raps’ victory with under a minute to play (via @Moleman):
As always, Kyle Lowry Over Everything.
