The 52nd Super Bowl will be played on February 4, 2018

NFL fans around the world, start making your travel arrangements! The best day of the year, Super Bowl Sunday, is scheduled for February 4, 2018.

The NFL will again hold true to tradition and keep Super Bowl LII on the first Sunday of February, just as they have done for the past twelve years. “The shield” will also reward another organization for building a new stadium.

In recent years, the NFL has christened new football stadiums such as Levi Stadium, Metlife Stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium, and AT&T Stadium with the Super Bowl, and will do the same with Minnesota’s U.S. Bank Stadium.

After playing 31 years at the Metrodome, the Minnesota Vikings temporarily moved into the University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium, while their new $1.1 billion stadium was under construction. After two years of playing outside in the harsh elements of the Land of 1,000 Lakes, Vikings fans will no longer have to brave sub-zero temperatures and wind chill reaching minus 25 degrees Fahrenheit, like they did against the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round of the Playoffs last season.

At the beginning of this football season the Vikings will move into the luxurious confines of U.S. Bank Stadium.

As for the moments fans aren’t inside the warm and comfortable monument dedicated to the game of football, good luck with Minnesota in February.
