Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would love to see the Raiders move to Las Vegas.

The future of the Oakland Raiders has been in question for quite some time. They were expected to move to Los Angeles, but for the time being, they are staying in Oakland. With their future in question, Dallas Cowboys majority owner Jerry Jones would love to see the Raiders relocate, but not to the city that everyone thinks they should. He thinks that they should relocate to Las Vegas.

"“They have a huge visiting contingent that more often than not are fans of some NFL football teams,” said Jones, via ESPN. “You add all that together, and it’s certainly in a conversation about the future relative to the NFL.”"

Mark Davis, owner of the Raiders, has already threatened to move the team to Sin City if Vegas approves funding for a new stadium. It’s worth noting that Jones spearheaded the Rams move to Los Angeles that also kept the San Diego Chargers and Raiders in their respective cities.

The National Hockey League will already likely be adding an expansion team in Las Vegas. It appears that the NFL is ready to put a team in Vegas as well. Las Vegas will be a very interesting city for professional sports. It should be fun to see how sports leagues deal with the issues that could arise. The primary issue that the NHL and NFL will have to deal with should they put teams in Vegas is gambling.
